The last day of break, but Christmas lights soon to come!

I'm sad.
Tomorrow I have to get up at 5:30 AM again... I despise getting up at that time, SO. MUCH. If I got one wish, it might be that school started at like 10:00 instead of 7:00!

BUT , this means the holiday season is closer. I'm so excited! That means soon it will be snowing, we'll put our Christmas tree up, lights will go up, and then we'll be off school again in like three weeks!

I'm hoping over Christmas break I'll be able to go visit my beloved and greatly missed cousin, Mary Ashleigh, who also has a great blog... http://maospoetry.blogspot.com !

One of my favorite things leading up to Christmas is the Christmas lights that everyone puts on their house! We don't anymore because my Dad never feels like it... but I love driving around and seeing everyone else's lights in the neighborhood!

Some of the houses around me really go ALL OUT! I think they even have a Christmas light contest in my town! My neighbor won once, but now their house is bankrupt and abandoned... :p

What is your favorite part of the season leading up to Christmas day? (Leave comments!)

Dear followers- I need your opinion!

Hello to my wonderful 15 followers, I need your help!

I have to choreograph a dance, and I'm stuck between which song to use! I like them all, but I'm not sure which one to choose... which is where you guys come in.

I'm going to put the songs below that I like for the dance, and if you'd be so kind as to listen to them and tell me which one you like best, I'd be very grateful.

You can either leave a comment, or vote on the poll I added on the side bar.

Please help me, I'm so torn!

Here are the songs-

The Show, by Lenka.

Let it be, by The Beatles.

The Dance, by Charlotte Martin

For those fellow dancers who are wondering, what kind of dance is she thinking about doing to one of these songs? Well, I want to do a Jazz/Lyrical dance.

Please leave a comment or vote on the poll on the side bar! Please and Thank you!

Like a Toy

Most Boys,
Treat us girls like a toy.
Playing with our hearts,
Not caring if they break.
They toss us around,
And only pay attention to us when they want to.
They'll scratch us,
And dent us,
But we must try to fix ourselves.

Those boys should realize that we are collectables,
Darling little figures,
That are very fragile.
We need love and care,
And can't just be thrown around and teased,
Because we can crack so easily.
We can't just be thrown away when they get tired of us,
We're worth a lot.

Most boys treat us girls like a toy,
But we are truly collectables.

Let the Lying Game Begin...

If you've read or seen the popular TV show, Pretty Little Liars, then you know Sara Shepard, the author of those amazing books.

On December 7Th, she has a new masterpiece that will hit the shelves called, "The Lying Game."

"I had a life anyone would kill for.

Then someone did.

The worst part of being dead is that there’s nothing left to live for. No more kisses. No more secrets. No more gossip. It’s enough to kill a girl all over again. But I’m about to get something no one else does—an encore performance, thanks to Emma, the long-lost twin sister I never even got to meet.

Now Emma’s desperate to know what happened to me. And the only way to figure it out is to be me—to slip into my old life and piece it all together. But can she laugh at inside jokes with my best friends? Convince my boyfriend she’s the girl he fell in love with? Pretend to be a happy, carefree daughter when she hugs my parents good night? And can she keep up the charade, even after she realizes my murderer is watching her every move?

From Sara Shepard, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Pretty Little Liars books, comes a riveting new series about secrets, lies, and killer consequences.

Let the lying game begin."

That's the pitch! It sounds amazing and so mysterious, I can't wait to read it!

Remember to get your copy of "The Lying Game" by Sara Shepard on December 7Th 2010!

Whip my Hair- is a nine year old?

I bet we've all heard the song "Whip My Hair" by Willow Smith, it's a great song! But did you know that Willow Smith is NINE YEARS OLD!?!

I didn't know that until like last week, that's so crazy! She sounds like she's 16 in that song!

Willow is super talented. She's the daughter of Will Smith and the sister of Jaeden Smith, who starred in the 2010 movie "Karate Kid".

Check out the music video for "Whip My Hair!"

Also while you're at it, check out a music video my cousin and I made for Whip My Hair!

I think I might cry....

I'm so happy! I have 11 followers now! Thank you guys sooo much! I really appreciate it!
If any of my followers want me to follow one of their blogs, just leave me a comment! If you guys have your links posted on your profile, I automatically follow all my followers back, but some of you don't have your blog link posted.

So if you don't have the link posted on your profile but want me to follow your blog anyway, let me know!

I also have a question....
How can I make separate sections/pages on my blog? Like right below the header? Like ones that say Home, contact me, about me, photography, and etc... I went under add a gadget and clicked the "Pages" one, but it only let me add a home tab and nothing else! I have no idea how to do it, so if you know how please leave a comment! :)

Happy Blogging!

Invisible- A peom I wrote.

I’m Invisible.
Like a speck of dust floating in the wind, with no place to go,
No one can see me, I’m all alone.
I shout all I can, but it’s no use,
No one is listening.
Maybe I’m translucent, only seen when wanted to be seen.
I feel ignored,
Abandoned,
Neglected,
Where do I turn?
There are no open doors,
No open arms waiting to hold me,
Just me, myself, and I.
Just a pit of blackness that I fell into.
No one to guide me through and no one to laugh with,
Running in circles, looking for answers,
I’m losing my mind.
All people do is build me up and then tear me down,
My spirits are broken.
Can you hear me?
No, of course you can’t
I’m invisible.

Just finished Wicked from Pretty Little Liars!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Defiantly one of the best books by far!!!! This book, Wicked, # 5 to be exact, just has so much drama,it makes my mouth water for more! The characters are just so interesting and curious. My Favorite would have to be Hanna or Aria.

If you don't read these books, YOU NEED TO! (Yes Mary, I'M TALKING TO YOU MISSY)
There is just such a great mystery lined up in these books, I don't know what to expect anymore! Some characters are just being killed off (literally) which makes it all the more confusing and exciting. Certain parts in these books has legit made my mouth drop in shock, which happened at the very end of Wicked when something of the unthinkable happens....

Sara Shepard (the author) is genius, and she shows it through these books. The series is also a TV show... but the books are better!
I'm going to try and start book #6, Killer, tomorrow!

Wicked rate- ***** 5 stars!

Kindle for Christmas!

I'm very excited for Christmas this year for a few reasons.
1. We get off school and it's Christmas.
2. I love the feeling of the holiday season and it's Christmas.
3. It's Jesus' birthday and it's Christmas.
4. I got myself an Amazon Kindle!

I know what you're thinking... she got herself an Amazon Kindle for Christmas?
Yes, indeed I did. First of all, the Kindle was not cheap so I didn't want to make "Santa Claus" get it for me... so I saved up my money and got myself one! I'm saving it until then so I have something to look forward to.

The Kindle is simply amazing, first, you can read all you want on it! It's like your own personal library that can hold up to 3,500 books! It has a built in dictionary and Facebook and Twitter. You can even access Newspapers, Magazines, and blogs! It has built in Wi-Fi! You can read in bright sunlight with the Kindle and have no trouble at all! It has a LCD screen that looks like paper, not a computer!

It only weighs 8.5 ounces and only 7.5" by 6"! Also, its only 0.335 inches thin! :0

" Amazon's newest Kindle is the best ebook-reading device on the market. It's better than the Apple iPad, the Barnes & Noble Nook, the various Sony readers…" - Fast Company

" New Kindle leaves rivals farther back." - New York Times

"The Kindle 3 is ingeniously designed to be everything the iPad will never be: small, light and inexpensive… Now, the Kindle is almost ridiculously lightweight; at 8.5 ounces, it’s a third the weight of the iPad. That’s a big deal for a machine that you want to hold in your hands for hours... certain facts are unassailable: that the new Kindle offers the best E Ink screen, the fastest page turns, the smallest, lightest, thinnest body and the lowest price tag of any e-reader. It’s also the most refined and comfortable." ‒ New York Times

It's gotten some great reviews! So I'd recommend buying a Amazon Kindle if you love to read!

Demi Lovato..bad role model?

Yep, we've all heard the rumors, and they are true! Demi Lovato has left her Camp Rock 2 tour to go into therapy for "Physical and emotional issues."

It has been reported that Demi Lovato began to lose it when she punched a fellow camp rock dancer in the face for snitching on her, but in reality Lovato reporters say this has been going on for years. It has been said that Lovato was bullied in school, and that's had a major effect. She's been apparently cutting herself and has an eating disorder.

In May, the star split from Joe Jonas, and it was a huge heart break for her. Now that she's on the tour with the Jo Bro's, Joe Jonas brings along his new girlfriend, Twilight star Ashley Greene. That would be stressful as well, to be around her ex constantly and see him with another girl. In March Demi quoted that she was "In Love" but then the relationship ended in two months later.

Demi tells www.mtv.com- "I was bullied in middle school. It got so bad I chose to leave and be home schooled. Many people think of bullying as getting beat up in school, but it is so much more than that. For me it was all of the verbal harassment I had to deal with. People say sticks and stones may break your bones but names can never hurt you, but that's not true. Words can hurt. They hurt me. Things were said to me that I still haven't forgotten."

Her words are true and so many kids feel the same pain she does, including me. Everyone is saying Demi Lovato is a horrible role model and she's ruined her career, but I don't think that's true. At least she knows she needs help and is doing something about it. She's just a teenager, and being famous on top of it all adds to the pressure and stress.

Examiner.com says that Demi is "To die a Disney death" if she is unable to film the new "Sonny with a Chance" season by January. Let's hope that doesn't happen.

Top 2 Tuesday

I know it's Wednesday again, but I want to do this.

Two things I'm thankful for are.........

1. Dance. Without dance, I don't know where I'd be. Probably obese and bored to death. Dance helps me stay physically fit and I have so much fun there. I've made a ton of good friends and we have a blast together. It's my passion. It's a good way to let out feelings, through movement. I just don't know what I'd do without it.

2. Cousins. I love my cousins more than anything in the world. I'm lucky that all my cousins and I get along on both sides, because in some families all they do is fight. My cousins are all like my best friends who just happen to be related to me.

Fabulous Friday

Today was actually a surprisingly good day.

First, I was told I was nominated as a Student of the Month at my school. First of all, I was honored, but also... shocked... because what did I do to deserve it? The other kids that win student of the month are like over-achievers and amazing students. The teacher that's in charge of it wouldn't tell me which teacher nominated me, so I won't know until the school newspaper comes out.

Second, we got our report cards. I actually got the highest grade point average I've ever gotten since High School. I was 0.1 point away from making "High Honors." That kinda angered me, but I'm still glad I made normal Honor Roll!

Lastly, I take a Musical theatre class at school. We have to sing in front of the class, which is not really my favorite thing to do. Bu today after I sang, "What I did for Love," from "A Chorus Line," my teacher and classmates said that was the my best singing performance by far, so that boosted my confidence with singing.

I also got the next book in my favorite series, "Wicked" from "Pretty Little Liars"!

Then tomorrow I'll be dancing at a school event, so it should be fun. Just thought I'd blog about this because I felt like it.

Hope you all have a good weekend!

Top 2 Tuesday

I know it's not Tuesday, but I wanted to do this anyway.

The topic for this Top 2 Tuesday is... 2 Favorite Gifts Received.

1. My first favorite gift I received would have to be my Flip camera. My biggest idol in life (and also cousin) gave it to me last Christmas. I've had a lot of fun with this camera and I've made some cool videos with it.

2. My second favorite gift I ever got would have to be my Ipod Touch. I can't live without the thing, seriously. I use it everyday of my life. It doesn't just entertain me, it helps with a medical condition I have when I listen to music. So without it, I'd be insane. When my old one broke, I cried like a child who just lost their puppy. I got my first ipod touch because I had to have a major surgery and my parents felt bad. (I would have still had that one I got because of the surgery but it broke. The stupid surgery also caused the medical condition)
