Demi Lovato..bad role model?

Yep, we've all heard the rumors, and they are true! Demi Lovato has left her Camp Rock 2 tour to go into therapy for "Physical and emotional issues."

It has been reported that Demi Lovato began to lose it when she punched a fellow camp rock dancer in the face for snitching on her, but in reality Lovato reporters say this has been going on for years. It has been said that Lovato was bullied in school, and that's had a major effect. She's been apparently cutting herself and has an eating disorder.

In May, the star split from Joe Jonas, and it was a huge heart break for her. Now that she's on the tour with the Jo Bro's, Joe Jonas brings along his new girlfriend, Twilight star Ashley Greene. That would be stressful as well, to be around her ex constantly and see him with another girl. In March Demi quoted that she was "In Love" but then the relationship ended in two months later.

Demi tells www.mtv.com- "I was bullied in middle school. It got so bad I chose to leave and be home schooled. Many people think of bullying as getting beat up in school, but it is so much more than that. For me it was all of the verbal harassment I had to deal with. People say sticks and stones may break your bones but names can never hurt you, but that's not true. Words can hurt. They hurt me. Things were said to me that I still haven't forgotten."

Her words are true and so many kids feel the same pain she does, including me. Everyone is saying Demi Lovato is a horrible role model and she's ruined her career, but I don't think that's true. At least she knows she needs help and is doing something about it. She's just a teenager, and being famous on top of it all adds to the pressure and stress.

Examiner.com says that Demi is "To die a Disney death" if she is unable to film the new "Sonny with a Chance" season by January. Let's hope that doesn't happen.
