Twisted

As most of you know, I am OBSESSED with Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard. I was just randomly cruising through my To- Read list on Goodreads.com and I noticed that all of a sudden, Twisted (PLL #9) has an actual cover. So knowing me I freak out and click on it, and there's a pitch now too! EEKK!!It’s been a year since the torturous notes from A stopped and the mystery of Alison DiLaurentis’s disappearance was finally put to rest. Now seniors in high school, Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily are older, but they’re not any wiser. The Pretty Little Liars have more secrets than ever - twisted secrets that could destroy the perfect lives they’ve worked so hard to rebuild.

Aria’s jealous of her boyfriend’s new exchange student. Spencer’s getting a little too cozy with her soon-to-be-stepbrother. Hanna’s one scandalous photo away from ruining her dad’s Senate campaign. And Emily will do anything to get a swim scholarship. Worst of all: Last spring break in Jamaica, they did something unforgivable. The girls are desperate to forget that fateful night, but they should know better than anyone that all secrets wash ashore … eventually.

I can't wait! How I love you A, I knew you wouldn't leave me with only 8 books to feed my obsession, you're better than that. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get my hands on this novel until July 2, 2011. IT NEEDS TO COME NOW!

Any of you guys like PLL? I know most of you are into Star Wars but maybe there's another PLL fan out there somewhere!

I've seen the books and I've seen commercials for the show, but I haven't seen/read it yet. I don't think my mom would let me. Maybe when I go on vacation with my cousin and we sleep in our own room (aka stay up all night in the room we share) I'll watch it. ;) Sounds cool!!

Haha, yeah....Star Wars is quite an obsession of mine now isn't it? xD

P.S. Howabout that, it's even in my name. xD JEDI Chick. :P

No joke, I too and completely OBSESSED with those books! Twister comes out July 5th! My birthday is the 1st and I'm specifically asking someone for a $8.99 gift card to Barnes and Noble and a $5.68 gift card to Starbucks so I can buy it, then on my way out hit the Starbucks by the entrance and get a Mochiotto with a chocolate chip scone:P Do you watch the TV show? I didn't watch it until after I read the books and I am addicted to that too! It's SO SO SO much different than the books, and I'm not quite sure if I like it being that it's only season 1. Anyways, great post! :)

@ Jedi-
You should read the books, the show isn't as good. I read the whole series (well I thought it was the whole series until I found out there are more books!) and it just made me mad when I watched the show because everything is so different and not as good! So I recommend the books over the show.

@Devin-
Haha that's cool! I'll be pre-ordering it on my kindle! I saw it came out on July 2 but maybe I'm wrong. I do watch the show. I read the 8 books and then started watching it, it is so different! I hate how they changed so much, it's annoying and not as good. I think they even are changing A.. well the first A anyway..

Ohh at last someone who likes the PLL books! None of friends have read the books at all i bought the first one for my friends birthday just to get her to read it and only 2 of my friends watch the show! The books are definetly better but the show is brilliant too! I love how they portrayed Aria in the show! Lucy Hale is the perfect fit! :) x

@ Hollie-
I know, I love Lucy as Aria! That's how I imagined her. There isn't enough drama and "mouth dropping" moments in the show as in the books. It makes me mad
