I want to buy one maybe, if I think I could actually do it. I look online and I'll probably get a Fender Acoustic like this-
Considering Fenders aren't that expensive online. Do any of you have Fenders? Do you know if they are good guitars in general? Or are they sucky?
I want to learn how to play The Only Exception! :)

Haha, you're talking to the girl who has 15 guitars in her house.
My mom has a Taylor as does my dad and brother and they LOVEEE those. However, those are expensive.
Fenders are what all my brothers started out with, so they're probably good starters.
I wouldn't *really* know though, because I can hardly play. I'm more of a piano kind of girl.
@ Qui-
Thanks! Wow, I wish I had a Taylor guitar, those are so cool! I probably won't be too serious with guitar so I'll most likely just get a fender
I think a Fender is probably the best kind to get when you a beginner. I have a Fender Electric guitar that was my grandpas. Even though I'm teaching myself, I'd have to say its a lot easier once your calluses come in. The Best type of string for a beginner are Nylon, but I started on steel and I'm fine.
The Only Exception is and awesome song to play on guitar. The first song I learned to play was "Hey Jude" by the Beatles. If you want to start out learning how to play through songs, I think it would be fine. I did that and I honestly think that learning chords first would be really boring, it always fun to start out by learning to play one of your favorite songs first.
I hoped this helped and I wish you the best of luck with you playing guitar. And though your fingers may hurt in the beginning, It's always worth it in the end.
I want to play guitar SO BAD! They just look so cool. ;P
