The wait is finally over

Happy March 23rd.
It's a big, big, big day!
If you live in America and pay attention to entertainment or read blogs or listen to music, you know what day this is.
HAPPY HUNGER GAMES!

I have been waiting for this movie for a year.
I read the first book in March 2011.
I'm very excited.
I hope it's good, because if it's not I'm going to cry.
This series is so amazing and it would be a shame if the movie makes it look terrible.
I need to see this movie.
Now.

I hate how everyone is obsessed with it now.
Like it's no longer sacred.
Those people aren't true fans.
They just read the book because they want to be involved in the trend.
I hate all the hype.
I'm a die hard fan, a true fan, and I know most of you are too.
We read the book before we knew about the movie.
We are the best.

I just need to see it. I hope I am not disappointed. Have any of you seen it? How was it?

I was tagged in this thingy so I am going to answer these questions-

1. Who were your favorite male and female characters and why?
Male.. well when I started the first book I wasn't a huge fan of Peeta... but as I finished the first book and read the other two, he is clearly my favorite. I also like Haymitch and Finnick. And Cinna. Katniss and Rue are my favorite females.

2. If you were placed in the Games, would you be more likely to let yourself be killed rather than attacking other children, or would you try to win?
This is a tricky one...If I was raised in the home/ environment I was today, then I don't know if I could deal with the fact that I took someone else's life away. Just because of the values I've been raised with. But if I lived in the districts, I'd try to win most definitely.

3. What kind of strategy would you try to use if you were placed in the Games?
I'd be the seemingly innocent and weak one who is willing to team up with anyone. Then when the time is right and I've earned the enemy's trust I'd make my move. Or just stay hidden until there is only one person left to kill.

I tag all of you.

Oh and also, isn't the song Eyes Open by Taylor Swift amazing?
Oh yeah, one last thing-
May the odds be ever in your favor.

I read the book about a couple months after it came out..I just saw the movie yesterday and I'd have to say for a book turned movie, it stayed with the book alot in my small opinion. My mom and I cried through some scenes even! But yeah..It was pretty dang good. Probably because Suzanne Collins was one of the producers! And if I'm correct, she helped with the script as well.

The Movie was amazing!!!! As you probably guessed I went to the Midnight Premiere and I started crying super hard before the Movie even started. I waited outside in the freezing cold for 7 hours, and waited 2 hours in the theater. Once the previews started I started bawling like crazy. I did have some disappointments with the movies, but I LOVED IT SO FREAKING MUCH!!!! I'm actually about to see it again in and hour, and Then I'm going to see it on Sunday also... Yeah, My weekends will be pretty dang busy now with the HUnger Games in Theaters! I can't wait for Catching Fire to see Finnicks abs.. Finnick is my husband :D. The ending is so cool with Seneca Crane too!!!!! The thing is, the don't play any of the Songs from the Soundtrack in the movie until the Credits. The Movie is just flipping amazing! OH yeah, I hate those fake fans too! I mean, I have worked so hard for over a year and a half to become the #1 Hunger Games Superfan! The people who didn't read the book and are obsessing over it can die, in the arena of course ;). They just annoy me! I mean, there is a girl in my class who things she like the biggest fan now because she say the movie... idiots. Anyhoo, your gonna love the movie! Not as amazing as the Books of course, but way more better than the stupid Twilight movies because Katniss doesn't act like a stupid Lamb who follows Edward everywhere. Sorry for the rant... You know how I can be around the Hunger Games :D

I have yet to see the movie, but I'm so with you. I hate that everyone read the books so they could be part of the trend. I read the first two books months before the third one ever came out, and had to wait and die and wait while I waited to read Mockingjay. Now all my friends have seen the movie, and I'm sitting here going "I hope it's good, because if not, I will die."

WENT TO THE MIDNIGHT SHOWING! *jazz hands* It was great... *sighs dreamily*

I'm Team Finnick for myself, but Peeta is obviously the man for Katniss. I hated Gale. He was such a tool.

I can't wait to see the movie!! My family is going to see it tomorrow, and I'm SOO psyched!! I don't actually mind that so many people are so excited, because it just means that the whole world is as excited as I am. It feels awesome. :) I'm not going to be able to sit still at all tomorrow! xD I CAN'T WAIT!

AH!! I can't wait to go see the movie, but I won't get to see it until next week, because I promised my dad I'd go see it with him...

I agree with you about the whole "trend" of The Hunger Games. Even though I read the book after I heard about the movie, I had owned it for years before that. People say I just jumped on the bandwagon, but I didn't. I hadn't read it yet, but I had heard of it, and was aware of it. Call me a bandwagon girl all you want, but I know I'm not, and that's what matters to me.

I'm so excited for the movie!! I can't wait!!
