Well, the second highlight of my summer is over.

I'm back from my vacation! First I just want to say thank you so much to all of the amazing guest posters who have produced some great posts while I was gone. Marisa, Taylor Lynn, Converse, Qui, Shelby, Sam, Jen, Devin, & Dia, thank you all so much for your time. If any of you ever need me to guest post for you, let me know! Weren't they awesome everyone?

I also want to say hi to my new followers! I gained a few in the past few days and I just wanted to say thanks for following me, if you'd like me to follow you, leave a comment with the link to your blog in the comments. Sometimes I can't see the link to your blog unless you comment. :(

So I am back! Seven crappy hours of our lives starts in 8 days.. AKA School. On Facebook everyone is posting their schedules so I think I'm getting mine today, ugh.

I went to Holden Beach in NC with my cousins who also live in NC. I only get to see them once a year so we all take a vacation together! It was really fun. Holden beach is a really calm, peaceful, and less crowded beach. There is not a lot of commercial business around it so there wasn't much to do but go to the beach and swim! It's still nice though because it's not too crowded.  We had good weather every day except for the last day (NATURALLY). I was planning to stay out on the beach and go to the pool pretty much all day long, but no. We still had a great time on the nice days though.

Me doing a split jump.

My cousin Taylor and I.

Me and my cousin Kelsey on the beach with our skim boards.

The beach is a great place to do some reading!

MY SKIM BOARD! My child! I did this every single day we were there, I think I actually got better than I was last year! My uncle may have got some action shots of me doing this but they aren't on Facebook yet :(

Tide pools, so fun.

The Goddess Test!

Our lame drizzle castle!

I love to make drizzle castles on the beach, swim,  lay out, read, boogie board, and skim board haha. I got sun burned a lot, but now it's turned to tan so it's cool! That is the best thing about sun burn with me, it is always worth it afterward. Beauty is pain. While in the deep water, I got knocked over by a wave and lost my favorite pair of sunglasses. I also lost one of my favorite earrings while I was skim boarding.
I bet you're thinking, "Paige, why do you wear your favorite items on the beach?" Well the answer to that is, I'm stupid. xD
It was also my little cousins fifth birthday while we were at the beach, so we threw her a little birthday party at the beach house! My two little cousins, Chloe and Ava are obsessed with me, and I love it! They are both so adorable!

The cake from the back.

Ava is 5!

Ava and her sister Chloe, I love them both so much. Chloe is 7.
So after a fun week at the beach, we went to spend two and a half days at my cousins' dairy farm in upper NC. They have tons and tons of animals there. Cows mainly, horses, a donkey, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, cats, and dogs! They are an all organic dairy farm. Every year we go there, my brother and I help them do farm work. It's pretty fun, but it's also tiring and gross. Even though I'm a "city slicker" I still like to do farm work!

Calves are so cute! We help feed them when we are there. These are just the ones that get bottle fed, there are tons more! They also have hundreds (maybe thousands) of adult cows!

The only thing I don't like about calves is that they constantly try and lick you, and it's gross.  I love to bottle feed them though, it's so fun! Adult cows aren't so fun, all they do is poop! It's so gross.. *gags*

The big milk carton in front of their farm.
They also have a few horses and a donkey, and my grandma's farm has miniature horses. My cousins go to a stable where they take riding lessons, and they let me come for the day! We went on a big trail ride and we rode in the arenas some. I'm not going to brag but I think I did pretty well for my second time being on a horse alone after FIVE YEARS. They were impressed.

Me riding a Flea-Bitten White Arabian horse named Lightening.

A blurry picture of me trotting around the arena.

Their donkey named Eli.

A goat named Lacie that acts like a puppy.

Mini horse!

Another mini horse!

Baby mini horse!

CHEERWINE IS THE BEST DRINK EVER!!!! AHHH!

But even with all the great animals, the beach, pool, sun, and Cheerwine, the best part of this trip is seeing my three favorite cousins ever. Mary, Kelsey, and Taylor. They are my best friends from another state!

I'm upside down, I'm cool.
I look awful here but I still love this picture!
Well, I miss them already but it's good to be sleeping in my own bed again. I hope you all enjoyed the guest posts! I think I already commented on most of your blogs but I might still have some to get to! Anyways, thanks for reading!

Wait I have one more thing... speaking of reading, look at all the books I got on vacation!

Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler (Finished, Review up soon!), Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins (Currently Reading), Along For the Ride by Sarah Dessen, The Vampire Academy by Rachel Mead, The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks, and Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin!

I finished three whole books while I was on vacation. Never Have I Ever by Sara Shepard, The Goddess Test By Aimee Carter, and Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler! I can't wait to read these!

Now, I am finished. Thanks for reading this post!

That sounds so cool! Part of the text got messed up so I couldn't read it. How did the goat get on the car? We don't get to go to the beach a lot. Seems fun!

Paige- how is the Lying Game series so far? I've considered buying it but I don't really think I'll like it. I mean, you know what happens in the first one and then there's only one girl. Isn't it supposed to be more fun with two?
