Hey guys, check these videos out! Tons of us on here are writers, and I figured this would be helpful to all of us! I found these videos on Writeoncon.com. Today the 18th is the last day of their online writers conference called Write On Con! There are many cool events going on over at the website that any writer would enjoy. But first, check out these three videos.
I loved these three videos, they were such great advice to a young writer like myself. I am having trouble with making successful beginnings so that first video was really good for me, and the second was too. I am so confused by the concept of querying, it really puzzles and scares me. Not that I'll be doing it any time soon, but when I do, I need to know how!
The third one was really powerful too. It shows that you should never give up and you have to practice practice practice to be perfect! A few rejections doesn't mean you'll ALWAYS get rejected. Eventually, if you work hard enough, you'll get the one.
Hope you guys enjoyed these! Make sure to stop over at Writeoncon.com for the last day of the conference!

So you're following the Writeoncon conference too?
GUESS WHAT.
So I entered this forum event with two agents, Carlie Webber and Christina Hogrebe, where you had to submit a twitter pitch and the first hundred words of your MS for critique.
I submitted for Expiration Date, thinking why not. I could get some good advice concerning the opening.
AND CHRISTINA REQUESTED THE FIRST THREE CHAPTERS AND A SYNOPSIS. She said "the set-up is intriguing."
I'm freaking out! I was not expecting that at all!! The book isn't even finished, or close to it! Though I probably will send it, if only for advice more than anything, because the odds of her actually wanting it are so slim, so why not get some useful insight?
BUT STILL OH MY GAH.
That's my exciting moment for the day.
Okay, those videos were EPIC! Great advice for writers, and it really helpful for me.
THOSE WERE AWESOME! Thank so much for posting them Paige! I hope someday that my FOTN could get published...when I'm done working on it, that is.
Oh that awesome Marisa! I'm so excited for you!!!
Those first two videos were fantastic! I found the first one especially helpful, though the second was really interesting, too. I didn't end up watching video three, however, because it was loading very slllloooowwwllly. :) But I'm sure that was good, too - thanks for sharing, Paige! :D
