Looking back at Sophomore year.

I'll miss a small amount of people and I'm going to be bored a lot but other than that I'm so happy!

I'll have time to post more, write more, read more, relax more, and most of all SLEEP MORE! For school I had to get up at 5:30 AM every day, well NOT ANY MORE! I won't have to study like crazy anymore and do massive amounts of HW.

I haven't been posting lately because I've been so stressed with final exams! I don't think I did too great on a few of them. It was too much for me to handle. I even cried because I was so stressed, and I've never done that before.

Everyone says 11th grade is the hardest of all. I'm not looking forward to it.

But if I look back at this year, some things have happened.

-I started this blog. I made this blog in October 2010. So I was about a month into my sophomore year. It's come really far since then.

-I discovered my love for reading. In November 2010 I think, my cousin told me about the Pretty Little Liars show. I didn't want to wait and see the show so I got the books instead! Then all my reading just took off from there. I've read 18 books so far this year. I've NEVER read that many before.

-I lost my best friend. She changed so much over the past year. We just grew apart. We got in a huge fight. We both kind of apologized but we never really got over it. Things are just awkward between us now. You know what I mean? I haven't talked to her in about a month. I spent all my time for the past three years trying to become friends with her and didn't make any other good friends, and now I'm lonely. Don't make the mistake I made. Friends don't last forever. No matter what they say.

-Told someone for the first time that I really didn't like them. There was this really annoying kid who liked me. He wouldn't leave me alone no matter what. He would text me and text me over and over again even though I NEVER answered. He is the most annoying person on the planet and made me want to rip my hair out. He's just one of those people who get under your skin and you can't stand. I couldn't stand the way he looked, walked, acted, or talked. He would always make fun of me and think it was funny and that I liked it. So after a while, I finally told him he was really annoying me and to leave me alone. I've never done that before, to anyone. I felt bad but, this was worth it.

-I found someone I really like. He's so nice, to me and everyone else. I'm hoping maybe something could actually happen between us one day once I know him better. He's different in a good way. Different from all the other guys I've liked. He's proved that already.

-I had my dreams crushed. I won't let it happen again. I won't, I just can't.

-I started a dance team. Well almost. We finally got further approval TODAY and we will probably be having tryouts in the fall!

-I started liking different artists and bands. Taylor Swift, Paramore.

-My bully finally left me alone after 2 long horrific years. I'm finally starting to recover emotionally and gain confidence back.

-I finally did a Hip Hop duet! And I loved it! It's my favorite duet of all time and we did really good with it at competitions.

-Choreographed and preformed a solo dance. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I thought I'd be so afraid and mess up parts and forget things but I didn't!

-Got over my fear of singing alone. I took a musical theater class this year, and we had to sing ALONE in front of the class. I was TERRIFIED. I was shaking and about to cry when I had to sing "la la la" alone in the beginning of the unit. But then after a few weeks, I was singing whole songs all alone with not as much fear. (I'm still a little afraid but not NEAR as bad.)

-I got my best GPA ever this year. I will probably be making my WORST GPA ever this nine weeks. I'll find out once I get my report card. I slacked off a lot this nine weeks. And I regret it.

-I was the editor of our school paper and wrote for the town newspaper. That's a big accomplishment in my book haha.

In 10 days, I get to go see TAYLOR SWIFT IN CONCERT!! AHHH! I'm SO EXCITED!!!! This will be my first concert ever! I'll be taking pictures and posting them on here!

Okay, I will have to say that junior year is the hardest. It's a year that you don't know if you care or if you should study or just slack. It's difficult, but you'll get through it. I'm still finishing up those classes but I graduate in 12. :D

You sound like you had a fantastic year though. I think you'll have an even better one in 11th. Just make sure you find a good balance between school/studying and regular life/fun and you'll be fine. =)

You learnt a lot this year!
What time did your school start at and end at if you had to get up at 5:30? that's really early! :)
Have a fantastic summer! x

I agree with FutureJediGirl - what a year! I know what you mean about friends... most of them don't seem to last forever, whatever most people say. At least for me. Maybe me and my family are different from most people, but besides my sisters, I haven't stayed close friends with anyone permanently. Even though me and my sisters and cousins were pretty much siblings, we were so close, now my cousins go to school and me and my sisters are still homeschooled. We grew apart and don't see them nearly as much as we used to. It can sometimes be a bit sad, but then again, it's true what everyone says - things always change. And there's not much you can do about it.

On a different note, HAVE AN AWESOME TIME AT THE CONCERT! Taylor Swift is awesome. (LOL Her song "Long Live" just ended on my iPod! <3 <3 <3)

Sounds like a hard year. You never know, next year could be better :)

I am so jealous that you get to go see the Taylor Swift concert!!!!! All the ones near me were sold out :( But my birthday is coming up so I'm still hoping that my mom just told me they were sold out but secretly got me tickets. Have fun!!!
