The Versatile Blogger Award!

I was on my blog today and I got a nice comment from a new follower of mine :) I clicked the link on the comment to find out that I was awarded the Versatile Blogger Award! :D This is an honor! *sheds tear* and I would like to thank "Me, Carrie and Libby Shaw" (http://lifefromtheplussized.blogspot.com/) for picking me!

So here are 7 things about me!

1. I'm a dancer. I love doing it sooo much and I'm going to continue it into college. I've been dancing for 12 years now.. and I've been on the competition team for my academy for 10 years now. I do Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Gymnastics, Musical Theatre, and Hip hop. Out of all of these, I'd say Hip hop is my favorite. I think I'm pretty good at it and I love doing it.

2. I have 3 cats and 1 dog. Two girl cats named Lily and Demi, and a boy cat named Ziggy. My puppies' name is Sophie. They can get pretty wild together.

3. I want to be a Journalist when I'm older. I'm not sure what kind yet... but I know that's the career for me. I want to Major in Broadcast Journalism and Minor in Dance.I'm the Feature Editor of my school's newspaper. I'm only a Sophomore, so I'd say that's pretty impressive since the editor is supposed to be a Senior. I'm also a student columnist for my town's newspaper.


4. I love writing stories. The first books I ever wrote were in 3rd grade with my best friend Karly. They were called "The Adventures of Star and Stripe." I wrote in Stripe's perspective, a grown up white tiger. and My friend Karly wrote in Star's perspective, a baby orange tiger. To them, humans were taking over the world and capturing all their animal friends. So the books were about them defeating the humans and getting back their animal friends. We wrote so many different books, it was a series. (yep because we were super cool 3rd graders who could write a series of books) But then at the end of 4th grade, I think I threw away all the books because I didn't want my mom to read them. I've been writing secretly ever since.

5. I'm a fashionista. I HATE sweatpants and baggy T-shirts. You couldn't pay me to wear them in public. I like following trends and wearing jewelry. Everyone at school always tells me how much they like my style, so it makes me happy.

6. My biggest goal right now is to become a featured dancer in my school's musical. Last year I didn't make it and it crushed me inside. But this year, I am determined.

7. I'm different from everyone else. I don't have a ton of good friends at the moment. People like to treat me like crap, lets put it that way. I don't have a lot of self confidence and I care too much about what people think about me. I try to be nice to everyone and not swear to much. I'll never drink alcohol until I'm 21. I'll NEVER smoke EVER. I'm not one of those druggie teens setting themselves up for failure.
